WHY NO MORE THAN 50% OF LIGNIN RESIN HAS BEEN USED FOR BLOOM TECHNOLOGY?

Lignin is a natural polymer defined as the glue that holds wood fibres together. After cellulose, it is the second most abundant natural polymer in the world. However, there is not just “one type” of lignin (it depends, among other things, on the type of wood that comes from). Whereas phenol has a regular structure, lignin is an irregular polymer. So it is difficult to work with it. Reaching a 50% lignin based resin that maintains the standards of our material, is already great achievement.
