Taiwanese interior design studio uses FENIX^® to enhance its inspiring workspace’s experience 

CA Interior Design studio in Taipei, Taiwan, chose FENIX^® innovative materials to define the visual and tactile sensations of its open space environment. Beige Arizona applied to the sharing kitchen island and Grigio Efeso for the design-led meeting table offer a multisensory and reassuring design experience. 

Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city centre, CA Interior Design decided to immerse its office in the tranquillity of Taipei suburbs to savour creative inspiration. In align with the intention of slowing down disturbing elements, the open-plan space echoes the serene sway of treetops outside the large windows, creating a comfortable atmosphere that filters out distractions. The choice of materials and colours was essential in this vision.  

The signature U-shaped plan is based on whiteness that avoids visual spacial boundaries. The painting technique of ceiling and walls creates different textures by reflecting light, making the place simple yet sophisticated. This reduces the saturation of the interiors, bringing in more of the greenery outside the windows, as the studio said.  

“The kitchen and the conference table, which are the areas most frequently in contact with skin, feature FENIX. The smooth, matt surfaces feel comfortable and relaxing, beautifully accompanying the peace of the whole design project,” they affirmed.  

In particular, the meeting table, combining the velvety essence of FENIX of the top with the matt stainless steel round legs, “expresses the desire of making people at ease while enhancing the intellectual side of the workspace”.  Choosing the earthy tones of Grigio Efeso for this sleek meeting table and Beige Arizona for the kitchen island, the designers explain that these were the best colours to embrace the reassuring sensations of the office which allow collaborators to focus on design new ideas and inspirations. 

Enriching the space with few complements, including plants and a painting symbolising the sunrise, CA Interior Design let surfaces and their features be protagonist. “Less is more has always been our design philosophy; simplifying the space allows it to present different changes even at different times and in different atmospheres”.
